Deposits
A $25 deposit will be taken during scheduling for all new appointments. This deposit will then be applied towards your service total at check out. If you need to cancel your appointment, we will gladly refund the $25 as long as you do so 24 hours prior to your appointment time. If rescheduling, your deposit will remain on your account and then go toward the rescheduled appointment. If you do not contact us before 24 hours before your appointment time to cancel or reschedule, your $25 deposit will be forfeited.
Cancellations
We make it a priority to be respectful of your time with us and ask that you do the same for our service providers. We simply ask that if you need to cancel or reschedule you do so at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time. We understand certain situations arise without notice and will take those cases into consideration as a one-time courtesy. After the second cancellation made with less than 24-hour notice, the guest will be required to pay a deposit of 50% of the scheduled services in order to schedule their future appointment.
No Shows
If any guest no call/no shows we reserve the right to require a card on file for a deposit of 50% of the cost of services scheduled before booking any future services. At that point, if the appointment is missed or not cancelled 24 hours before the scheduled time, the deposit will be forfeited, and the remaining amount will be charged to the card on file for the full amount of the scheduled services.
Late Arrivals
Guests that arrive 15 minutes or more late, will not be guaranteed completion of all services. Our stylists will provide what services they can in remaining the time allowed or may not be able to complete the service at all depending on other guests scheduled appointments. The full amount of the scheduled services may still be charged. If you have not contacted us 15 minutes after your appointment time it will be considered a no show.
Prom/Homecoming
New prom and homecoming appointments will also require a $25 deposit and appointments must be cancelled 72 hours before the appointment time in order to get back your deposit. Failure to cancel before 72 hours will result in a forfeited deposit.
Service Satisfaction
During your visit with us, we will do everything to clearly communicate and guide you through the processes and recommendations to get you to your hair goals to the best of our ability. There may be times when an issue or situation arises where a guest is not 100% satisfied with a service or the outcome. We strive for complete experience satisfaction and can only learn and grow if we are made aware of these occasional shortcomings, so please understand that our lines of communication are open. If an issue should arise, we would appreciate you making us aware as soon as possible by calling us directly to speak with a manager at 724-342-9280. We guarantee our work 100%. If we do not meet your expectations, we will be happy to correct the service to your satisfaction, however, we do not issue refunds for services. We ask that you notify us by phone within 10 days of your visit about any concerns you may have. A change of service because of a guest changing their mind will result in additional charge.
Lost or Damaged Items
Styling One Salon is not responsible for any lost personal items and will not be held responsible for damages to articles of clothing during services. While we do take every precaution possible to protect your clothes from color, there may be times where color or water may accidentally come in contact with articles of clothing. Consider bringing a change of clothes if you are concerned about possibly ruining clothing. Also, for your convenience, we have provided smocks available in the restrooms for guests to change into to prevent personal items from possibly being damaged.
Right to Refuse Service
We welcome all with open arms into our salon, however, we will not tolerate inappropriate or demeaning behavior from our guests to any staff member or fellow guests. Guests behaving inappropriately or rudely may be asked to leave and find a salon that may be a better fit for them.
Product Returns, Refunds and Exchanges
If you are not 100% happy with a product, please let us help find you something else you love. Any Redken, Pureology or L'Oreal Professionals brand products purchased at Styling One may be returned or exchanged within 10 days of purchase. Please notify us of any defective or damaged products immediately so that they can be replaced. All Dermalogica, Glo Skincare and any makeup products are final sale and non-returnable/refundable.
All accessories are final sale.
